Melissa Geurts is a New York based, Canadian born electronic artist making intimate, distorted pop for the overstimulated. Her songs sit in that space between softness and static, where your feelings glitch, get messy, get honest, and come back sounding a little broken in the best way.
In the past year her music has passed 300,000 streams across more than 40 countries, with strong listeners in Poland, the United States, Germany, Canada, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. Her 2025 album system crash charted on Apple Music’s Electronic charts in the Netherlands and Senegal, and they have been featured in Plastic Magazine, Rock the Pigeon, Soundville, and ExtraVAfrench. Tracks like under-feel, miss my worst, nvm :), and softer plz have become low key glitch pop staples, the kind people loop alone on headphones at night. Recent collaborations include international artists like Sails on the under-feel remix.
Melissa releases music through her creative lab The Blue Algorithm, which also houses her emotional tech work, her writing, and everything she builds around digital feeling and the human nervous system.
